К сожалению, карпятники стали все реже использовать для ловли «своей» рыбы такую универсальную насадку, как вареный картофель, предпочитая пользоваться новомодным изобретением – бойлом.
Никто из рыболовов не сможет предсказать, какая из этих насадок проявит себя лучше при ловле на конкретном водоеме, но каждый из них согласится, что купить и приготовить десяток картофелин гораздо дешевле и быстрее, чем тратиться на бойлы.
Как приготовить картофельную насадку
Для начала необходимо вспомнить, что существует множество сортов картофеля. Некоторые из них, так называемые кормовые сорта, довольно плохо развариваются. Обычно они имеют желтоватую сердцевину и лучше всего подходят для ловли карпа
Приготовление картофеля на насадку занимает около 10-15 минут. Переваривать его ни в коем случае нельзя, поскольку он будет легко размокать в воде и скорее рано, чем поздно, свалится с крючка. Степень готовности корнеплода необходимо контролировать с помощью зубочистки или спички, периодически пытаясь пробить кожуру картофеля. Если она протыкается без чрезмерных усилий – значит можно доставать картофель из кипятка. Оставлять в горячей воде его нельзя, чтобы не «доварился».
Экономя время на рыбалке, дома можно подготовить насадку из картофеля в виде цилиндров, которые будут насаживаться парами на «волосок» а-ля бойл. Для этого можно воспользоваться большим шприцем, у которого срезана верхняя часть. С его помощью из клубня изготавливаются круглые насадки 10 на 10 мм.
Оставшийся картофель не выбрасывается, а используется как ингредиент прикормки. При изготовлении насадки можно поступить гораздо проще и нарезать ножом кубики подходящего размера. Еще хороший вариант – варить очень мелкий картофель, который можно использовать целиком. На водоем заготовки необходимо перевозить в закрытой таре с водой.
Тонкости лова
Для ловли на картофель подойдет как поплавочная удочка, так и донка, главное, чтобы оснастка была прочной. При использовании нескольких снастей их надо забрасывать не ближе чем 3-4 метра друг к другу. Если дно слишком илистое, между парами картофельных цилиндров можно вставить пенопластовый шарик, тем самым обеспечив плавучесть насадки.
Обязательно в место заброса нужно засыпать несколько горстей прикормки, состоящей из остатков картофеля, обжаренных семян рапса и проваренной пшеницы.
Карп не сможет устоять перед соблазном полакомиться на таком роскошном обеденном столе и, жадно схватив насадку, подарит рыболову непередаваемые ощущения радости и борьбы.
